Associate of Science in Information Technology (ASIT)
The Associate of Science in Information Technology degree program offered through Stonecliffe College Online provides students with the foundational knowledge and skills to pursue entry-level career opportunities in IT or to continue their studies to a more advanced degree. The program covers such topics as programming, computer security, databases and data management, spreadsheet applications, operating systems, computer languages, systems administrations and network management.
Students who successfully complete the ASIT degree program can pursue positions as Field Service Representatives, Network Control Technicians, Technical Sales Support Specialists, Entry-level Data Architects, Database Librarians, Help Desk Support Assistants, Computer Support Assistants, Data-entry Technicians, and more.
The ASIT degree program features three built in Professional Certificates that students can earn with no additional courses or program costs: UNIX Network Administration, Client Java Programming, and CompTIA Network+ Fundamentals.
